If you are in pursuit to create the finest tablescapes, here’s a simple guide on how to achieve one while you learn more about bone china.

Where is Bone China originally from?

Bone China was first developed in the United Kingdom around the year 1800. A new formula was developed for simple manufacturing with better resistance levels. It was a basic combination of calcined bone ash, china stone, and china clay. The bone initially used in the production is heated to about 1000 °C at which the original structure of bone is changed to suit the manufacturing process. The collected material is then finely ground with water before adding it to the remaining ingredients to create the body. It was the calcined bone ash which gave traditional English bone china its translucency and whiteness.

The next-gen tableware canvas

With a vision to be the complete tabletop solution provider, here’s RAK Porcelain’s industry-best bone china tableware which does not contain products of animal origin and is, therefore, suitable for vegans. The R&D team has developed an exclusive formula which consists of a naturally occurring mineral powder containing Tri-Calcium Orthophosphate which delivers exact same results. To be able to qualify as bone china, the developed material needs to have a minimum of 35% of Tri-Calcium Orthophosphate in the fired item. This formula has been fully tested and exceeds the minimum requirement as it contains around 40% of Tri-Calcium Orthophosphate and has therefore been approved in independent laboratories to be able to hold the title of bone china. In this modern era like any exquisite painting or a traditional dance style, gastronomy is being redefined as an art form. While being mindful towards sustainable living, RAK Porcelain’s vegan-friendly bone china ranges are revolutionizing tableware industry along with various genera under their product umbrella. From creating memories around the table with its timeless masterpieces to retaining the articles as a precious piece of art, the brand has taken new altitudes. Here’s some inspiration for you to create some refreshing tablescapes while making some great reminiscences.
